We invite you to join us at the 2020 Carl Rogers Annual Conference in San Diego from August 1-5, 2020.
Our venue will be the beautiful hill-top campus of the University of San Diego, a short drive from the airport and from downtown. In addition to offering an excellent variety of meeting rooms, hosting on campus allows us to provide more affordable food and lodging options than a hotel venue. It also allows our people to combine our conference with their summer vacations – San Diego in the summer time is a wonderful stop on anyone’s trip to the West Coast.
We have three very attractive rooming options for conference participants who elect to stay at the university:
One bedroom apartments. There are a limited number (5) – of these for couples on a first come first served basis. Each comes with two twin beds, a bathroom, kitchen and a sitting room.
- Super single bedrooms. Each of these single occupancy bedrooms comes with two twin beds and has its own separate bathroom. They share a sitting room and kitchen with one other similar bedroom.
- Shared bedrooms. For attendees wishing to hold down costs, we have a shared room option. The rooms are the same as the super single bedrooms listed above, but will have two occupants, each with their own twin bed who will share the space and bathroom. The two occupants will have access to the kitchen and sitting area which they share with the adjoining bedroom.
Because the rooms are University property, guests staying in student housing will have an additional saving as they will not be charged the 7.75%California sales tax.
The University holds us responsible to collect room rental payments from our participants and pay the University directly before the conference. Attendees who wish to stay in student housing will need to reserve and pay for their rooms at the time of registering for the conference.
